Life Insurance Disputes

Life insurance claims may be denied for several reasons, including the policy is not active due to the failure to pay; you are not the beneficiary of the policy as stated in the agreement; or the manner in which the insured died is not covered under the terms of the policy.   If you believe that your life insurance claim has been denied improperly or you are a victim of possible fraud, you can dispute the denial.

Trust litigation and probate litigation are conducted within the Probate Division of the Superior Court or Circuit Court of local jurisdiction.  The Probate Division for Santa Clara County Superior Court is located at 191 N. First Street, San Jose, CA.

The Law Offices of Dawson G. Crawford can assist you with life insurance claims and disputes in either Santa Clara County Superior Court, San Francisco County Superior Court, Hawaii’s Fifth Circuit Court (Kauai), or other Superior and Circuit Courts within California or Hawaii.
